Welcome to the Fantastical, Phenomenal, Function of Finance!

This page will be where any and all information for transition will be found. Below you will find links to your transition tool, links to education booklets, and a timeline of releases. So make sure to bookmark this page and you should be checking it with your predecessor and aligning your calendar to this one to the left.

This timeline to the left is to understand what should be completed before or in tandem with other aspects of transition. If you have any questions, feel free to message Nathaniel, MCVPF, at +1(740)405-3016 on WhatsApp.

TRANSITION GUIDELINES

1. Make sure you complete the booklets in order, even if you do not complete them in order, make sure to do them in the order they are given.

2. Make sure to complete all parts of the tool mentioned while reading the booklet, they are meant to go together.

3. Make sure that your local transition is following a similar flow as laid out above.

4. Complete the Transition Intro Booklet (found below) first.

TRANSITION TOOL GUIDELINES

  1. The tool is designed to be completed along with the booklets.

  2. Do not delete, change, or mess with the tabs and equations in the tool.

  3. If you want something changed in your tool, please ask before changing anything.

  4. This tool will also be your budget tool for your term, so make sure to put a lot of time and effort into it.

  5. YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS TOOL COMPLETED BY WNC OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN CERTAIN FINANCE SPACES.

  6. This should take you 20 hours to complete, but you have an entire month to do it.

  1. FINANCE JOB DESCRIPTION

THis section reviews all aspects of what the job entails and an overview of finance in aiesec us.

2. GENERAL FINANCE KNOWLEDGE

THis section EXPLAINS GENERAL FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE, WHICH IS GREAT HELP FOR THOSE WITH NO FINANCE BACKGROUND AND WILL HELP CONTEXTUALIZE FINANCE INTO AIESEC TERMS.

3. BUDGETING PART 1

THIS SECTION WILL HELP PREPARE YOUR BUDGET BY LOOKING AT HISTORIC DATA OF YOUR LC AND WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT STATE OF YOU LC.

4. BUDGETING PART 2

THIS SECTION WILL HELP YOU GET YOUR INITIAL BUDGET THOUGHTS OUT AND TO HELP WALK THROUGH THE THOUGHT PROCESS OF BUDGETING.
THIS IS NOT YOUR FINAL BUDGET. YOU WILL CONTINUOUSLY TWEAK IT THROUGH WNC AND PLANNING.

5. FINANCE STANDARDS

THis section reviews HOW LC HEALTH IS CALCULATED THROUGH AIESEC INTERNATIONAL AND THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A FINANCIALLY HEALTHY LC.

6. SUSTAINABILITY

THis SECTION DIVES A LITTLE DEEPER INTO THE 6TH FINANCE STANDARD AND ALSO WHAT SUSTAINABILITY CAN MEAN TO YOU AND YOUR LC.
