Dear applicant,

When I first applied for MC, imposter syndrome nearly convinced me not to. I thought I wasn’t ready, that there were others who were more experienced, more qualified, more AIESEC-y than me. But I went for it anyway. And what I learned is something I need you to hear now: as long as you are willing and motivated, you will be enough for this entity.

Because AIESEC US doesn’t need perfect. It doesn’t need the people who have all the answers. It needs the people who are ready to challenge what came before and build what comes next. We are in a moment where playing it safe isn’t enough. Where repeating old strategies won’t get us anywhere. Where different, crazy, bold ideas are not just welcome—they’re necessary. We need leaders who are ready to push limits, question norms, and shape an AIESEC that is truly ours. We need leaders who will look at the talent we have and develop it, nurture it, and unleash it. This is YOUR AIESEC. And it’s time to make it everything it can be.

So, if you’re looking at this booklet, wondering if you’re good enough, if you’re ready, if you should take that step—you are.

I won’t promise this journey will be easy. But I will promise that it will be worth it. You will be tested, you will grow, and if you choose to take this on, you will leave a mark on this entity that will outlive your time here.
