Dear applicant,

When I first applied to MC, imposter syndrome almost convinced me not to. I thought I wasn’t ready—that there were others who were more experienced, more qualified, more “AIESEC” than me. But I went for it anyway. And what I learned is something I need you to hear now: if you are willing, motivated, and ready to give your best, you are exactly what this entity needs.

Because AIESEC US doesn’t need perfect leaders. It doesn’t need people with all the answers. It needs people who are ready to challenge what came before and help build what comes next. We are at a moment where playing it safe isn’t enough. Where repeating old strategies won’t move us forward. Where different, crazy, bold ideas aren’t just accepted—they’re necessary. We need leaders who will push limits, question norms, and help shape an AIESEC that truly belongs to its members. We need leaders who will look at the talent we have and develop it, nurture it, and unleash it. This is YOUR AIESEC. And it’s time to help make it everything it can be.

So if you’re looking at this booklet, wondering if you’re good enough, if you’re ready, if you should take that step—you are.

I won’t promise that this journey will be easy. But I can promise it will be worth it. You will be tested, you will grow, and if you choose to take this on, you will leave a mark on this entity that will last far beyond your time here.
